Gorrick Cool MTB Challenge - Sun 15 October @ Test Valley, Hants

September’s here and Autumn always brings our Cool MTB Challenge which this year is on SUNDAY 15 October. It’s a fully marked and supported off road mountain bike event with a choice of distances in the beautiful Autumnal trails of the Test Valley. Event HQ is at The Pavilion, Charlton Sport and Leisure Centre, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3LF Grid Ref SU341467.
The event offers riding for everyone. Some riders like to push themselves, others like to ride with their family (U16s ride for FREE with an adult) whilst others just enjoy riding through the stunning scenery with their friends. You can choose to ride either a 45 or a 30km fully way marked and supported route which features all our favourite off road trails in north west Hampshire, including the much loved ‘Woods’ singletrack section.
Registration opens at 8am and you can start riding any time between 8.30am and 10.30am. Start and Finish times are recorded for all categories and published online by the next day. There are friendly water/energy drink/energy snacks stops along the way and hot and cold food and drink will be available all day at the Finish. Other facilities include easy parking, a bike mechanic, computer timing, mobile 4X4 marshals, changing rooms, showers and bike washing. Each rider receives a free TORQ energy gel or bar and a completion medal, and will be in with a chance of winning a weekend biking break in the UK courtesy of event sponsors Saddle Skedaddle. If you do pre-enter you will be sent a pre-event email in the week before the event, once pre-entry has closed.
