Heath * Trail * Bike * Camp present The Bishop's Way, shifting overnight mountain bike/gravel bike events up a whole new all inclusive gear, supported by Alpkit, makers of award winning technical clothing and camping equipment.

Starting on the outskirts of Reading on Saturday 18 April you'll ride 100 miles of sweet off road trails and singletrack over 2 days (split 60/40) through the Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire countryside following a GPX circular route (with optional camping at HQ on Friday night if you live some distance way).

The ride is self supported, but with plenty of shops and cafes along the way. If you’re not a bikepacker – where you carry all your kit with you on your bike - well we don’t want you to miss out, so there’s an optional extra of camping kit porterage with the charge going to local charity My Cancer, My Choices.

Your event entry includes a street food dinner on Saturday night, breakfast on Sunday morning, plus drinks and overnight woodland camping/bivvying on Saturday night at our quiet woodland site.

Friday 17 April

(Optional extra). Camp or bivvy overnight at the start HQ. There's plenty of private on site parking and toilets plus food shops and pubs close by. Why not leave the car at home and come by train? Reading station is just 3 miles away.

Saturday 18 April

Arrive at the start from 7.30am, there's ample parking, sign in and be ready to leave at 9.30am. You’ll then follow our GPX route through 60 miles of the best off road trails along the Bishop’s Way to our woodland overnight stop. Sign in, then set up your tent, bivvy or hammock for the night in the woods or grassy glades or, if you want, you can bed down under tree hung tarps. You can then enjoy the inclusive meal & drinks in the marquee (vegetarian & vegan options available), relax and socialise around the legendary Alpkit teepee. There'll be toilets and water on site. If you've opted for porterage, your kit will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Sunday 19 April

After your inclusive breakfast, pack up, sign out then follow the remainder of the route back to the start, where the team will welcome you back at sign in with an Alpkit finisher’s bag.
