Autumn Classic 2 - Results and Photographs

Winter thermals were the order of the day as racers were greeted by cold and frosty conditions. Nonetheless the racing was HOT. Considering Crowthorne Wood has been Gorrick's spiritual home for nearly 25 years the course is always fresh. And once again the trail team mixed it up so you never quite knew what surprises laid around the next bend, of which there many, and roots. The Gorrick Team can only offer sincere apologies for the disruption to the childrens races. We had to rule the Under 13 and Under 11 races null and void as riders got lost when a family walking through the area were witnessed altering the course after the Youth and Juveniles had gone through. Very regrettable but we were left with no choice and can only apologise for those disappointed young riders.
Now a brief reminder for the drivers entering and leaving our venues. PLEASE obey the 5mph speed limits on the land out of courtesy to other users. Enough said.
Looking ahead the Brass Monkey Winter Enduros start on the 27th November at Caesar's Camp, Aldershot, followed by Round 2 on the 18th December, and Round 3 on the 8th January. Remember these are by PRE-ENTRY ONLY, there is NO entry on the day. Numbers are limited to 300 so don't hang around commit to riding now.
