Swinley Forest - Changes affecting cycling - Meeting on 3rd December

Many of you will be aware that the Crown Estate is instituting some changes within Swinley Forest which will affect cyclists with regard to new trail construction and usage of existing trails. A meeting will be convened on the 3rd December for riders to learn more...

Crowthorne and Swinley Forest are now open for riding

The devastating fire that ripped through much of Crowthorne Wood is now out and riders are welcome to return to the area. Some of the trails nearest the A3095 have been affected and the forestry have created new firebreaks so don't expect to ride all your old favourites. Swinley Forest is unnafected and all trails can be ridden. If you do spot any suspicious activity or fires however small please inform the relevant authorities as fast as possible. Thank you.

Swinley Forest Cycling - 2011 Season Annual Permits now available to buy

Current permits expire on the 31st March 2011. Order your Annual Permit for the new season now, it costs just £20. All cyclists (aged over 16 years) are required to have and display the Permit when using Swinley Forest. For details on the permit scheme please refer to the relevant section on this website.

Swinley Forest Cycling Permits Renewals

Just a reminder that your Annual Permit to cycle at Swinley Forest expires on 31 March, so now is the time to renew it, to get another whole year's riding in the forest.

Swinley Pipeline - Update 3

The forest is now settling down after the upheaval of the massive pipeline works and most of the forest tracks that were disturbed are now recovering well and are quite rideable.
