Well the forecasters mucked us about a bit for this event. The promised early morning rain not materialising until lunchtime meant that the easyish set of checkpoints resulted in plenty of clearances and riders who got going early enjoyed a rain free event. Even those who got wet found the trails around this part of Surrey to be surprisingly well drained, so we managed to keep our new venue at Tilford nice and clean. The short walk to the pub did not seem to put you off staying a while. It was great to see so many of you staying for the prize giving with prizes once again provided by Mountain Trax. A special mention too for the pair of unicycle riders, who were trying out this type of event for the first time, and really enjoyed themselves... well done.

We are back to our Christmas/New Year regular event on SATURDAY 30 December 2006, with a fresh selection of checkpoints on a slightly changed mapping area from previous years. Always a popular event, so worth booking early, which you can do ONLINE but we will be taking entries on the day as well.
