Our final event of the year was greeted by mild sunny conditions, which appeared to be squeezed between heavy rain on Friday night and torrential rain on Saturday afternoon. Good timing for the riders but spare a thought for Dave Truby collecting the checkpoint markers in, we hope you've dried out by now.

It was good to see so many of you stay for the prize giving and we'd like to thank our sponsor Chris White, the owner and manager of Mountain Trax, for not only finding time to compete but to present the prizes and continue his support into 2007.
Talking of next year, we're confirming dates and venues so hope to have them published during January. Provisionally the next event is on the 4th February.
