TrailTrax Surrey Hills Preview

It only seems like yesterday that we were celebrating the Christmas holidays and enjoying our regular season end TrailTrax Navigator event at Eversley.
Now here we are already at our first event of 2007. We return to the Leith Hill area of the North Downs in Surrey to enjoy the hospitality of the Parrot at Forest Green on Sunday 4 February 2007.
This area of the North Downs offers an excellent area for exploring, as you search for the checkpoints on trails that take the worst of any weather in their stride, thus ensuring a memorable day out even at this time of year. Start times are from 8.45am to 10.30am for the 180 minute schedule and from 10am to 11am for the easier 120 minute schedule. You choose how many checkpoints and what route, so whatever your level of fitness you'd enjoy this event.
The Parrot Inn offers great food and real ales and will make us very welcome. Full details as always on the website and remember you can enter ONLINE now!
TRAVELLING BY TRAIN?
The nearest station is ~3 miles away. You can leave belongings with us at Registration.
- Ockley Railway Station (from Central London/Horsham)
Exit the station and turn right (west) onto the B2126. Turn left and immediately right to cross the A29, continue on the B2126. On entering the village of Forest Green the Parrot Inn is to your left and will be signposted with Gorrick signs. - Gomshall Railway Station
(from Guildford/Dorking)
Exit the station and turn left (east) onto the A25. In Abinger Hammer turn right taking the B2126, continue through Holmbury St. Mary. On entering Forest Green follow Gorrick signs to the Parrot.
