Many thanks to all those people that kindly commented on the course layout and checkpoint positioning, it was nice to hear how you all enjoyed it so much. Dave Truby was the man responsible for the markers this weekend and it sounds like he's really getting the hang of things, even if it did take 6 hours to lay them out! Well done Dave.
There was a good range of scores across the board with tightly fought battles for some. Once again Rick Fetherston got the measure of the course and achieved the only clearance in 2:52 with the next highest Nick Dean scoring 1810 after penalties.

We are sorry that the pub wasn't serving food (and they declined to mention this to us in advance) but hopefully the sarnies and cakes made amends.
Looking ahead, the next TrailTrax is on the 3rd June at the Flower Pots in Cheriton covering the Itchen Valley. An additional event will be held on Saturday 30th June in Swinley Forest with a slightly different format, more details when available.
