TrailTrax Itchen Valley preview

It's summer, so it must be time for our annual TrailTrax visit to the Flower Pots at Cheriton! It's a lovely place, nestled in the Itchen Valley just off the South Downs Way between Winchester and Alton. Sunday 3 June 2007 is the date, and the weather forecast is set fair after the recent rain, so conditions should be perfect.
This area of the Valley and Downs offers a great ride for both those who are looking for a challenging workout or those who want a gentle morning ride around the area. You choose how many checkpoints to visit and decide what route you want to take. Start times are from 8.45am to 10.30am for the 180 minute schedule and from 10am to 11am for the shorter, family friendly 120 minute schedule.
The Flower Pots brews its own beer on the premises and always puts on a fine Barbeque for us, so you've lots to look forward to on your return - as well as the traditional prize giving courtesy of our sponsor Mountain Trax.
