TrailTrax - Cheriton Results

They say it never rains at the Cheriton TrailTrax. Is this true? Well apparently yes. After two weeks of on off rain the sun came out just in time to make the trails passable with effort and not too muddy. Hats off to Carl Silver, Ian Cartwright and Mike Richman who cleared the lot and a great effort from many of you who achieved better than expected scores from the fast drying checkpoints.
The usual excellent barbeque and pub brewed ales were enjoyed in the orchard as the riders returned. Everyone was back to the pub without incident by 1.30 so the full house enjoyed a prize presentation with much banter. Thanks as always to Mountain Trax for a wonderful array of prizes and to the Flower Pots for making us so welcome.
Join us again on Sunday 9 September 2012 at Chieveley Village Hall for our next round when the sun will shine again.
