TrailTrax Tilford results

A cool and misty start greeted riders at Tilford, but the sun soon burnt through to make for a hotbed of competition. With the A3 at the Devils Punchbowl now removed a checkpoint was placed up on Gibbett Hill allowing for safe and easy traffic free access. It made for a long climb but the 250 points were worth the effort as proven by the many riders who achieved a full clearance. Planning the checkpoints earlier in the week I had erred on the side of caution with the predicted poor forecast so made things maybe a little too easy. So back to the usual levels of difficulty next year eh?
We are very grateful to Mountain Trax for continuing to support the events and provide £1000's worth of prizes every year. Also thanks to Sid Hardy for collating all the results to compile the Series positions, which will be published later this week. And finally thanks to all the riders that keep coming back to support one of the very few last remanining navigation events in the south, see you in April 2013!!
