So with our mini night race season done and dusted, you can now put your feet up and rest those weary racing legs until the Spring Series returns in January. We do hope you enjoyed this new race format as Gorrick is looking forward to repeating this next Winter. If you have any comments or suggestions to make please let us know via the usual email address info@gorrick.com or send the URL of your photos to webmaster@gorrick.com.

Yateley Heath provided a fast but fun course of approximately 2.2 miles with conditions much improved upon Heath Warren's rain soaked trails, but with a thickening mist to add an extra hazard. Perhaps a set of Exposure Lights would have helped light the way? Which leads me on to the prize draw... USE have been a very generous sponsor and tonight Rory was on hand to draw the winning race number, again and again and again, until finally someone was there to claim the prize... so congratulations go to Phil Payter who rode to a 35th place finish in the Over 35s race.

A final thank you from all the Gorrick team to you the riders and supporters who keep on turning up to all our events and proving that cross country racing is still alive and kicking. Also to all our sponsors for generously donating prizes and many other things besides. See you in January for the racing or 28th December for a TrailTrax, we're off for a rest!
