A big well done to all riders who competed today and congratulations to everyone who finished their set number of laps and received an engraved plaque for doing so. There were some awesome finish times in some categories: Jamie Newall rode 7 laps/70 miles in 6h 15m 38s, followed by Colin Shearer (who flew down Scotland for the race) some 26 minutes later.

One rider's comment summed it up - after 7 laps. "A much better course than the Kona 100. This was a proper endurance race with good singletrack, fast fireoads and not a bit of tarmac in sight. Excellent."

Our next event is TrailTrax orienteering on the 6th July at Hook. Come and test your map reading skills in this lovely area of Hampshire by setting your own route between checkpoints and getting as many points as possible. See the TrailTrax pages for more.

Right, I'm off to clean my bike and eat a big dinner!
