Gorrick Halloween XC Classic - Sunday 29 October - plus MOUNTAIN TRAX clothing sale

Coming up soon on Sunday 29 October is our Halloween XC Classic at Highlands Farm, Frimley Green, Surrey, GU16 6HT. It's lap based racing at its best, at an all-weather venue where the team have again been working hard to enhance the great 4 mile mix of climbs, descents, single track and resting sections. There's a wide range of categories for riders aged 8+. Full details, start times and online entry can be checked out here or you can just turn up and enter on the day at Registration from 8am. Expect a well-run event with computer timing, trophies on the podium, quality coffee, drinks & snacks, toilets plus the venue is especially spectator friendly.
MOUNTAIN TRAX our local mtb shop and long term, much valued Gorrick supporter and number board sponsor will be at the event too. They'll be supporting riders with basic mechanical tasks pre-race, such as; tweaking gear setup, brake alignment, and puncture repairs, though ideally your bike should be race ready beforehand, no full services can be done on the day! Mountain Trax will also have a range of mountain bike clothing on sale at the event at SPECIAL GORRICK PRICES. Now that the weather is turning, it's an ideal time to pick up some wet weather gear from Endura; MT500 waterproof jackets, shorts, trousers and socks and look out for their bargain bucket too. Cash is preferable if you can, as card payments can be difficult at this venue.
A pre-event info email will be sent out to all pre-entered riders once pre-entry closes late next Wednesday 25 October, and course updates will be posted on our Facebook just prior to the event.
