Preview: Tilford / Surrey Hills TrailTrax 11th October

Just a reminder that our last TrailTrax mountain bike orienteering event of the year, takes place on Sunday 11 October 2009 at Tilford south of Farnham in Surrey. The event is based at the impressive Institute on the Green at Tilford, which gives access in all directions to some of the best free draining riding in the whole area, and has a pub directly opposite.
Online and postal pre-entries will remain open until next Tuesday 6 October. As with all Gorrick events though, you can always enter on the day at a small surcharge. Great prizes will be available in a range of categories from our event sponsor Mountain Trax of Wokingham with the prize giving at 1.45 pm.
The venue is open for registration from 8.30 right up until 10.45am. Start times for the 180 schedule are from 8.45 until 10.15am and for the 120 schedule are from 10.00 until 11.00am. Hot drinks and cakes will be on sale throughout the event.

Limited parking is available behind the Institute, on the road beside the venue, in the small car park over the opposite side of the cricket pitch, or a quarter of a mile away at the public car park signed "P" on the map. The Barley Mow pub is a short walk away for your post ride beer and dinner.
