The Itchen Valley provided a popular new location for our navigators to get their teeth into this weekend. Being very close to the South Downs at Winchester a considerable amount of ascending was required to gain a good score, with only three riders achieving a full clearance, though not without penalty. As a venue The Flower Pots was very pleasant with good beer and food, so we'll definitely be returning next year.
Our thanks go to Mountain Trax for sponsoring the prizes, TrackLogs for providing the Digital Mapping, and Val Wayte for stepping in at the last minute when we had a technical glitch.
Consequently the final and confirmed results are published with some amendments to the finishing positions as announced at the prizegiving. You will be contacted shortly if you were the result of a miscalculation and moved into a prize winning position. Our sincere apologies.
Our next event is another TrailTrax on 13 June at Andover, run in association with The Test Valley Tour. A bumper turnout is expected so please send your entry form off in advance as entries are limited.
