Preview: Test Valley Tour Hot Challenge

Just a reminder that the first event of this year's much loved Test Valley Tour ( www.testvalleytour.com ), the Hot Challenge sponsored by Behind the Bike Shed ( www.behindthebikeshed.co.uk ) and Saddle Skedaddle ( www.saddleskedaddle.co.uk ), takes place next Sunday 22 May starting from Vernham Dean Pavilion, Vernham Dean, Hants SP11 0JY.
The event is a marked route off road ride, you choose to ride either 80km, 50km or 30km at your own pace and can expect:
- Fully way marked circular routes for easy navigation
- Event HQ with ample free parking, toilets, showers & refreshments
- Complimentary tea, coffee and cake before you ride
- FREE colour Track Logs map extract showing the routes and facilities
- Water stops with FREE TORQ Energy Drink
- A FREE TORQ Energy Bar or Gel for each participant
- Full back up and 4x4 rescue, just in case you have a problem
- Mobile marshals and end of event route sweeper
- Behind the Bikeshed trade stand
- Cycle mechanic from the Purple Bike Shed
- Finishers' memento
- Refreshments, including a barbeque and homemade cakes, on sale at Event HQ when you relax after your ride

Registration opens at 8.45am and you can start your riding anytime between 9 and 11am. Over 65s pay a reduced rate and Under 16s riding with an adult are FREE. Pre-entry has now closed. If you do pre-enter online, please bring your entry confirmation email to the event. You are however also very welcome to just turn up on the day of the event and enter then.
