Test Valley Tour - Wessex MTB Challenge 2 Oct 2011

The second event of the Gorrick Test Valley Tour 2011, sponsored by Behind the Bike Shed of Andover and Saddle Skedaddle is on Sunday 2nd October 2011. The Wessex MTB Challenge is based at The Flower Pots Brewery and Public House, Cheriton, Hants, SO24 0QQ. Cheriton is a beautiful village, located between Winchester and Alton (close to Alresford just off the A31) and gives us fantastic access to a whole range of wonderful tracks and trails including the South Downs Way. Here's what else you can expect:

  • Fully way marked circular routes for easy navigation
  • A choice of route lengths
  • Event HQ with ample free parking, toilets, & refreshments
  • Complimentary juice and cake before you ride
  • FREE colour Track Logs map extract showing the routes and facilities
  • Water stops with FREE TORQ Energy Drink
  • A FREE TORQ Energy Bar or Gel for each participant
  • Full back up and 4x4 rescue, just in case you have a problem
  • Mobile marshals and end of event route sweeper
  • Cycle mechanic from Purple Bike Shed
  • Finishers' award
  • Fantastic Pots Real Ale brewed at the pub and barbeque on sale at the Event HQ when you finish
  • And, last but not least, one lucky rider at the event will win a Saddle Skedaddle cycling holiday!
