Gorrick's Hard Day's Night Saturday 15th October
by Jon Lucas, 04 Oct 05.
At Porridge Pot Hill, Deepcut, Surrey in association with Exposure Lights and USE. Just a quick reminder about our next event which is just 10 days away! Riders will compete once in the day and once after dark for between 30 and 60 minutes around an exhilarating two mile, spectator friendly course, with just one single climb, 'the concrete hill' and loads of singletrack with plenty of overtaking possibilities. Both your day and night race positions will be combined to find the overall category winners who will collect some fantastic prizes from Exposure Lights and USE, plus of course the now famous 'be there to win them' killer prize draw, for a set of Exposure lights.
There will be all of the usual Gorrick facilities, along with live entertainment from John Bush, a King of the Hill hillclimb competition during the afternoon plus our race photographer will be on hand to record your finest moments.
So why not make a day (and night) of it and bring along your friends and family? Bring a barbecue too as there will be plenty of spectating areas, plenty of lighting in the arena and lots of grassy areas to lounge about. There will be trade stand displays from 1st Gear Cycles, USE & Exposure Lights, plus Mountain Trax with loads of test bikes including the new Santa Cruz Nomad, Heckler, Orange 5, Giant Trance, Turner 5 Spot, Scott Scale carbon and Genius carbon.
Entry forms and further details are as usual on the website. See you there!
