Autumn Classic Preview

by Jane Lucas, 28 Sep 06.

It's Autumn, and we're gearing up for our Autumn Classic mountain bike races. First up is our NEW VENUE at Tunnel Hill, between Mytchett and Pirbright on Sunday 8 October 2006. This promises to be a real cracker, with plenty of swoopy single track, fast fire road sections with plenty of ups and downs plus the biggest car park we have ever had!

The venue will be well signed from the A331 south of the M3 junction 4 at the Mytchett slip road. The nearest stations are at Ash Vale (from Waterloo) or North Camp (from Reading/Guildford). The entrance to the venue is adjacent to the Basingstoke Canal visitor centre so watch out for their brown signs as well. More details about the venue plus full race details including a downloadable entry form are on the website.

Take a look at Tunnel Hill in our unique 3D Landscape View, we'll be making the most of the terrain. The parking and arena are in the white section toward the centre of the map.
