Dry courses and sunny racing in February? Surely not...

...Yes indeed, Heath Warren provided quite possibly the driest race course since summer last year. I for one gave my bike a quick brush down and put it away. None of that "hosing, scrubbing and oiling" normally required during winter.

So what did you think to the course this week? We kept to our promise and gave you a shorter but somewhat twistier and more technical challenge, which bedded in and got better as the day went on.

There was another exodus holiday prize draw, won by Paul Champness, riding in the Fun class. Lucky him! We'll have more news of when the next draw will be held in the race report published in a week or so.

So until then, it's only a few weeks to round 3 at Crowthorne Woods on the 16 March.
