Gorrick Spring Series R3 - Sunday 8 March
by Jane Lucas, 26 Feb 15.
Round 3 of the XC Spring Series is on Sunday 8 March and is headline sponsored by Saddle Skedaddle a travel company who are utterly convinced that riding a bike is the best way to travel and explore, and are committed to offering the right support, guidance and care to make a holiday superb. Some lucky Series prize winners will be able to check this out for themselves.
Taking place at Porridge Pot Hill, Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey, GU16 6TU, you can expect a classic course with a mix of short sharp climbs, some longer, gentler ones, plus some fast singletrack descents. As the car park and Arena are surrounded on three sides by much of the course, it's a particularly spectator friendly venue. There will be the usual friendly welcome, full facilities, trade stands plus generous spot prize vouchers to be won from our sponsors, please support them as they support our sport:

We're expecting more great racing, and you can check out the current Series points here. At this round, riders who have already gained Series points will be gridded. Remember, to be a contender to win a superb Series trophy from our sponsor Four4th Lights and a prize from one of our sponsors you need to have gained points in AT LEAST 3 OUT OF 4 ROUNDS, and ALL ROUNDS WILL COUNT. Expert riders are, once again, racing for prize money pots which will be rolled over and awarded on the podium at the final round.
