exodus Spring Series Round 3 - THIS SUNDAY at Crowthorne Wood

Exodus Adventures will again be providing another great mountain bike holiday giveaway for entrants to Round Three of the Gorrick Exodus Spring Series this Sunday 14th March at Crowthorne Wood, Crowthorne, Berkshire. Just by entering for this Sunday's event your name will be in the hat to win a trip to the UK's top mtb destination of Coed-y-Brenin. Crowthorne Wood is always popular as our original home venue and after a rest last autumn, the Corkscrew is back to fully test your technical skills. Forest Enterprise have been busy draining and ditching for us, so the course will be in great shape, with a good mix of tracks, fire bash and single track to keep everyone happy.

A big turnout is expected after our record numbers at Round 2. So additional parking is available at the Broadmoor lower car park. Please note that this is not official parking as we have not sought permission, though we don't anticipate a problem. To get there turn off the Bracknell Road, just a few metres South West of the roundabout entrance to the main venue, into Brookers Corner, continue into Broadmoor Road, left at the mini-roundabout into Kentigern Drive where the car park is on the left. Ride out the back of the car park and turn right onto the Devils Highway to reach the start area.

Retro Race at Exodus Spring Series Round 4

Just to let you know in plenty of time, we shall be running another of our 1 lap sprint races at Black Wood, on the 4 April, right after the Sport riders have gone off at 2.05pm.

This time it's a Retro race for all you "Retrobates" out there. Qualification will be bikes with no suspension of any kind and must be of pre-1996 vintage. Additional handicap advantage can be gained from having a lycra helmet cover, biopace chain rings and farmer john tyres. Bikes and riders will be scrutinised, photographed and laughed at! TrailTrax and Rally Raid Events

All the dates for our navigation events are now available on the Calendar page of the website, with our first Rally Raid of the year on Easter Saturday 10 April 2004 starting at The Northbrook Arms at East Stratton, midway between Basingstoke and Winchester. Entry Forms will be available on Sunday and on the website shortly.
