Brass Monkeys R3 - Results and Photographs

What a great final round at Minley under glorious winter sun. It was pleasing to see the end of the series well attended with another big turnout, especially in the 2 hour where the riders kept streaming through the start loop for ages. The course was about 5.3 miles long and was in my humble opinion the best Brass Monkey course ever at Minley. It flowed so well knitting together all the fun bits making each extra lap something to look forward to. Well done to the course planning team. They have put a huge amount of work into the three venues making them race ready which can take days and weeks of preparation.

Our thanks also to the Sponsors: Four4th Lights for the prizes, and Mountain Trax for sponsoring the race number boards.

Results and photographs by Kevin Sheldrake are available now from the links above. Plus the Series Podium Summary is posted below. The final Series Points for all scoring riders will be published later in the week.

If you loved the venue and the format please book online now for the TORQ In Your Sleep Race on the 14th May. It offers 12 hour riding for Solos, Pairs & Teams and 6 hour riding for Solos and Pairs. There's a Single Speed category and this year the Fat Bike categories are the UK Fat Bike Championships 2022. Expect a superb, well prepared 8 mile figure of 8 XC endurance course. By popular demand, there'll be some children's races on the Saturday morning before the course opens for practice and the main event. Make a weekend of it and camp trackside.
