Swinley Forest fires update

The good news is that the fires are out and NO MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS in Crowthorne Wood or Swinley Forest have been affected. However due to the massive clear up operation now going on, both Crowthorne Wood and Swinley are STILL CLOSED. There are literally miles of hoses still running through them to the Royal Military Academy and Swinley reservoirs, but it is hoped that they will be removed by the weekend. A lot of clearing work has been done and new fire breaks have been created, which is why the A3095 remained shut during the early part of this week - but the road has now reopened.
We will keep you advised as to when Swinley will re-open fully.
