It was good to see all of you who came to Bordon today and there was some great racing in the sunshine. The wet conditions of the Brass Monkey back in early March were long since forgotten as the venue now showed it's true character and potential for future events; dry loamy trails gave way to short sandy patches, the sweeping nature of ex-motorbike enduro tracks made for lovely flowing bends, and the consistent short elevation changes kept you on the gas all the way...
Final Round - Gorrick Spring Series - Sun 30 April

Sunday 30 April brings the final round of this year's Gorrick XC Spring Series at Hogmoor Inclosure, Hogmoor Road, Bordon. This new long term exclusive venue for Gorrick is part of the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration initiative. Whilst there are no hills you can expect a classic XC course with lots of short climbs and descents in mixed woodland...
TrailTrax Results - The Barley Mow, Tilford

The varied terrain available to course planner Julian from the Tilford HQ always makes for great riding no matter what direction you set off. And so it was that the TrailTrax competitors clocked up some good distances aiming for the elusive clear round, with just two riders achieving that both a good 15 minutes under the 3 hour limit. You can review all the results from the link above.
Relaxing post ride in the beer garden under glorious sun made the chilly early start all the more worthwhile. So it was great to see so many riders still in attendance for the prizegiving, which our thanks go to Mountain Trax for their continued support in providing the prizes. We hope to see you all at the next TrailTrax or the Gorrick Hot Challenge on the 21st May.
