TrailTrax Results - North Downs, Dorking

The Priory School on the outskirts of Dorking opened up a new area for TrailTrax competitors to get their teeth into; the great range of hills including Leith, Holmbury, Pitch and Ranmore Common. So there was plenty of climbing and of course fun descending required to maximise scoring opportunities. Indeed there were a number of clearances in outstanding times so well done all. It was good to welcome new riders to our events and we hope to see you at all four this year.
As a new addition we are creating a series points table so over the course of the year you can compare cumulative scores against all other riders. For now take a look at todays results via the link above. Thank you as ever to Mountain Trax of Barkham near Finchampstead for continued sponsorship and providing all the prizes.

Final Spring Series Points and Category Winners

Spring Series Round 5 - Results and Photographs

The Summer well and truly took over the Spring series finale at Frith Hill as racing was held in fabulous mid 20's temperatures. Dusty fast riding trails were the order of the day for everyone to enjoy and it all made for great close battles in the Series Points, with many positions not decided until the final crossing of the finish line. Congratulations to all those who stepped up to the podium and a big thank you to our Series Sponsor Saddle Skedaddle, and the local bike shops that support each category with prizes. In the prize draw for a Saddle Skedaddle Holiday open rider Pippa Tanner was the lucky winner.
A massive thank you from all the Gorrick Team to you all for riding, spectating, the caterers, timing crew, course builders, commentators, photographers and not least all the behind scenes staff who work tirelessly to bring quality events and race courses to the masses. And yes, the Spring Series will be back in 2012 - the provisional dates and venues are already published on our event menu cards. In the meantime we look forward to seeing you at Swinley Forest on the 1st May for the Exposure Lights 100 Enduro.

The Final Round of our XC Spring Series, headline sponsored by Saddle Skedaddle is on Sunday 10th April at Frith Hill, Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey. There's all to play for to gain those vital final series points or just come along and ride for fun. The Tunnel Hill Trolls will finish the day with a one lap handicap sprint which should provide some entertainment...

The final positions are taking shape but it's still all to play for with just Round 5 remaining. The top 3 finishers in each category will be awarded shop vouchers and selected Saddle Skedaddle holidays in podium presentations after each batch of races.
